Product Questions to Confirm Before Ordering

Choosing this product

Confirm the exact model, finish, available roll size, current technical data sheet and intended coverage. Then ask the installer to assess the actual vehicle or surface before the material is specified.

Compare the same fields on current documents: material family, finish, dimensions, test method and conditions, written warranty scope, installation requirements and sample appearance. A product name alone is not a complete comparison.

Appearance, care and service life

Appearance can change with the underlying surface, lighting, viewing angle, panel shape and installation quality. Review a physical sample on the intended surface before making an appearance decision.

Service life depends on the exact model, exposure, installation, use and care. Confirm the current written warranty for this model and market; warranty duration and expected service life are not the same thing.

Follow the current care instructions supplied for the exact model and the installer’s written handover. Ask when the surface may be washed, which products are compatible and how edges should be inspected.

Have a qualified installer inspect the film, original paint, repainted areas and panel history before removal. The appropriate method and outcome depend on the actual substrate and its condition.

Removal conditions and substrate history can affect residue and cleanup. Use the current removal guidance for the exact model and have the installer document any pre-existing paint or repair concerns.

Installation planning

Professional installation is recommended because surface preparation, patterning, film handling, edge work and final inspection are vehicle- and product-specific.

Use the current installation instructions for the exact model. Do not transfer a wet- or dry-installation method from another film without written confirmation.

Record the exact film, surface condition, panels or areas included, pattern method, edge strategy, installation environment, care handover and unresolved questions before work begins.

Repositioning behavior is product- and process-specific. Confirm it in the current installation guide and let the installer determine the method for the actual panel or surface.

Use the timing in the current installation instructions and the installer’s handover. Ask for a documented final inspection and any recommended follow-up check.

Confirm the current model-specific requirements for surface preparation, environment and handling. The correct conditions should come from the approved installation document, not a generic temperature range.

Confirm that the pattern data, software, film width and intended coverage match the actual vehicle and current roll before cutting.

The paint manufacturer’s cure requirements and the actual repair condition must be checked first. Ask the installer and repairer to confirm suitability in writing before installation.

Ordering and delivery

Provide the destination and intended product, then request current written confirmation of availability, packaging, freight method, charges, customs responsibilities and delivery estimate. These terms can vary by order and market.
